Why this trip

Belize, beautifully hosted

Placencia is a small fishing village at the tip of a 16-mile peninsula in southern Belize. The Caribbean is on one side, a calm lagoon is on the other, and the barrier reef sits just offshore.

We timed this trip for early November, when lobster is in season and the dry season is just beginning. It's also Placencia's Restaurant Week, so if you'd like a night out, local chefs are serving their best.

We keep it small on purpose: just 4 couples, with the two of us hosting every day. Every detail is handled, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy.
